CHINESE NEW YEAR


This is an event from china.
my family and i celebrated this event.
i am excited because i meet my relatives from other city 
They share about their lives, some of them are already in college so I ask them about the college, is it hard, etc

Usually most of them who celebrate the chinese new year eat before the day with their family in a restaurant or their relatives house.

One tradition that never dissapear in chinese new year event is angpao, usually people that has not married yet said "khiong hi" and people that already married will give them angpao.

Sometimes there are barongsai too, people that dance with a costume of dragon.

KPI

18th of feb, KPI (Kebaktian Penyegaran Iman) was held. Held at Anugerah Church. We must got there by 7:30 a.m. and it started at 8 a.m. We sang Church songs and then we started the ceremony after singing Church songs. there were singers, band and dancers. The leader told us about her experience life back then. She lived in a poor family,that couldn't even afford to pay rent or school. It was really sad to hear. She did not believe in God back then, but her friend made her realise that God is exsist. She encourages us to appreciate what we have. Then she prayed for us and asked us to say sorry to people that we have hunted . Then we sang songs again and end the event.

EASTER IS CHRISTIAN MOST IMPORTANT EVENT, BECAUSE THIS EVENT IS TO CELEBRATE THE RESSURECTION OF GOD USUALLY IT IS ON A DAY IN MARCH 21-APRIL 25 Easter is the day when we celebrate Jesus Christ rising from the dead. SINGAPORE FIELD TRIP

Me ,my teachers and my friends went to  Singapore for a study tour. We stayed there for 6 days. We left to Singapore on the 20th of February and went back to indonesia ,26th of February. We stayed in a hostel it's clean and comfortable too, On the first day, we didn't go to school because it was Saturday. So we went to the Science Center. There was scientific experiments everywhere there it's nice and there was a vr or virtual reality.To be honest it is exciting. After that we went to Jcube mall. We ate dinner there. Me ,owen ,michelle ,darren ,etc ate at Nando's. It was delicious. They gave us the menu ,yeah so we ordered the grilled chicken package. It's about $36 more or less but we divided it by 7/6 :v On the second day, we went to church. The church is not as big as i thought,there were people there but it's not much. I thought that the church can't spoke indonesian but  they spoke Indonesian. I was amazed .It took long really long bec...
